Creating and Managing Work Orders in the Calendar View

Create a New Work Order 0:11

  • Use the 'New Work Order' button at the top to open the form.

  • The planned start and end dates will pre-fill based on the selected date.

  • Alternatively, switch to the week view and drag to adjust the dates.

  • Select Work Order Type

  • Choose a work order type (e.g., milling).

  • Naming the work order is optional; if not named, it will default to the work order type name.

  • Click 'Create' to add the work order to your schedule.

Adjust Work Orders 1:27

  • Click on the work order to make adjustments if it hasn't opened yet.

  • Use the date selector or drag the work order in the schedule to change times.

Assign Location 1:46

  • Change the location of the work order if necessary by changing the location within the work order detail card.

Access the Old User Interface 1:53

  • Click 'Go to Work Order' to access the unopened work order in the old Elevated Signals user interface to execute on work order actions.

Work Order Status Indicators 2:01

  • Green checkmark: Work order has opened and is complete.

  • Yellow clock icon: Indicates a delay (either past start time or not closed by proposed end time).

  • Red exclamation point: Location conflict with another work order.

Manage Conflicts 3:41

  • Conflicts currently appear whenever multiple work orders are scheduled at the same time in the same location. This will be flagged with the red exclamation point icon and can be resolved by changing the location of one of the work orders, or by rescheduling one of the work orders.

Timeline View 4:25

  • Use the timeline view to see room capacity and identify available time slots for work orders.

Use Table View for Overview 4:57

  • The table view provides a high-level overview of work orders and their current states (scheduled, delayed, completed).

  • Adjust visible columns by using the Columns drop down above the table

  • Adjust column order by clicking and dragging on the column headers.

  • Add filters by using the filter icon in each column header.
