Purpose

In the Reports page, the Monthly Opening Inventory Detailed function allows users to download a snapshot of the inventory at the beginning of each month.

What can you do with it?

With the Monthly Opening Inventory Detailed, you can access a comprehensive report of your opening inventory for any given month. This function enables easy downloading of a detailed snapshot, providing a crucial overview of inventory levels and helping inform strategic business decisions.

How is it done?

  1. Access the Reports Page: Navigate to the Reports page in the Elevated Signals system.

  2. Select Reporting Options:

    • Data Select of Reporting Categories: Choose the specific categories you'd like to include in your report. This helps tailor the results to your needs.

  3. Show Empty Inventory:

    • Checkbox: Determine whether to display empty inventory entries by checking or unchecking this box. Including these can help identify gaps.

  4. Specify the Starting Date:

    • Date Select: Set the beginning date for the report. This will define the scope of data being analyzed.

  5. Define Measurement Units:

    • SI Mass Unit: Choose your preferred unit for mass to ensure consistency.

    • SI Volume Unit: Select the unit for volume measurement to match your company standards.

  6. Choose Desired Columns:

    • Data Select of Columns: Decide which columns should appear in your report, customizing it to focus on the most critical information for your analysis.

  7. Download the Report: Once all options are selected according to your needs, download your custom report to review, share, or archive.
