The New Inventory Product is your gateway to adding fresh entries to your inventory. It streamlines the process of product addition, ensuring each product is meticulously crafted to suit your inventory structure.
How is it done?
Product Details
Name: Enter the product's name.
Product Code: Input a specific code or let it auto-generate by omitting vowels from the product name.
Vendor Selection
Vendor: Choose one or multiple vendors from the list provided.
Units and Measurements
Use SI units? Check if scientific units are needed.
Measure Type: Opt between Mass or Volume.
Select SI Units: Choose preferred units like mg, g, kg, ml, l, gallons.
Display Unit: Select the primary scientific unit.
Base Inventory Unit: Assign a name if not using SI units.
Categorization and Tracking
Inventory Categories: Select relevant categories.
Associated SKUs: Link the respective SKUs.
Advanced Options
Require SKU: Ensure a SKU is appended for any new lot.
Non-Inventory Destruction: If enabled, allows only for product destruction without inventory creation.
Require Batch: Ensure inventory from this product is organized within a batch.
