Purpose

In the Shipping Order Detail page, the Set Status feature allows you to assign a specific status to each shipping order. This helps identify and categorize the current state of your orders seamlessly.

What can you do with it?

The Set Status feature empowers you to define the category of a shipping order's status, ensuring clarity and organization in your order management process. By setting a status, you communicate important information about the shipping order's progress and readiness, helping team members make informed decisions swiftly.

How is it done?

  1. Access the Shipping Order Detail Page.

    • Navigate to the particular shipping order you wish to update.

  2. Set a Status Type.

    • Choose a Status Type from the locked options available specific to the shipping order. This selection categorizes the overarching status of the order.

  3. Select the Desired Status.

    • Using the data selection, set the current Status for the shipping order. This actionable insight reflects the precise stage of the order.

  4. Add a Reason.

    • Enter a clear and concise reason in the Text Area field. This reason contributes to the Facility Updates Report and provides context for team communications.
