Purpose

The Shipping Order Detail page is your hub for organizing and dispatching plant shipments. Use the Ship Plants in Order feature to seamlessly allocate and send plants as per the shipping order requirements.

What can you do with it?

With Ship Plants in Order, you can efficiently manage the distribution of your plants. You'll have the capability to ship plants that have been specifically allocated in the shipping order process, ensuring precise record-keeping and operations management.

How is it done?

  1. Access the Shipping Order Detail Page

    • Navigate to the Shipping Order Detail page to begin the shipment process.

  2. Select "Ship Plants in Order"

    • Choose the Ship Plants in Order action to initiate plant shipping.

  3. Input Quantity Shipped

    • Enter the desired number in the Quantity Shipped field. This is a Numeric Field, so ensure your entry reflects accurate quantities.

  4. Choose Shipping Date

    • Use the Date Select option to set the shipping date. This helps in maintaining accurate shipping records.

    • If you prefer to backdate, remember it cannot precede the original Shipping Order Date & Time.

  5. Finalize and Confirm

    • Verify your inputs and confirm the action to ensure your shipment is processed as required.

Important Considerations

  • Partial Shipments: The quantity and date fields are crucial and appear only if you've selected "Partially Ship" from plant actions.

  • Timelines: Leaving the date field empty defaults it to the current date and time, ensuring no missed updates on your shipping records.

Best Practices

  • Double-Check Quantities: Always verify the quantity to be shipped, especially when partially shipping, to avoid discrepancies.

  • Review Shipping Dates: Ensure the date correlates with the actual shipping date planned and adjust as needed to maintain accuracy in records.

  • Keep Backdating in Check: Stay mindful that backdating cannot go before the shipping order’s date and time to uphold data integrity.
