πŸ—‘οΈ What Can Be Fully Deleted?

You can only fully delete the following items:

  • Destruction events

  • Work Order inputs and outputs

  • Line items in Shipping and Purchase Orders

⚠️ Important: Deleted items are permanently removed from the system and cannot be undone, so proceed with caution.

βœ… How to Delete Destruction Events

  1. Navigate to Destruction (this brings you to Destruction Lots).

  2. Select the Destruction Lot that contains the event.

  3. Click on the Destruction Event you’d like to delete.

  4. Click Actions > Delete.

βœ… How to Delete Work Order Inputs or Outputs

  1. Open the specific Work Order.

  2. Locate the input or output you’d like to delete.

  3. Click the Remove button beside it.

βœ… How to Delete Shipping or Purchase Order Line Items

  1. Go to Inventory > Shipping Orders or Purchase Orders.

  2. Select the specific order you wish to edit.

  3. Find the line item to be deleted.

  4. Click Inventory Actions > Delete.

πŸ“ Note: You can only delete individual line items, not the entire shipping or purchase order.

πŸ“¦ What Cannot Be Deleted β€” Only Archived

All other system components (like inventory categories and vendors) can only be archived, not deleted. Archiving removes them from selection in future operations but retains associations with existing records.

πŸ“ How to Archive an Inventory Category

  1. Open this link to access Inventory Categories:
    πŸ”— Inventory Categories

  2. Choose the category you'd like to archive.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Check the Archived box and save.

πŸ“ If the category is assigned to any products, it must be manually unassigned from each before archiving.

🧾 How to Archive a Vendor

  1. Navigate to Inventory > Vendors.

  2. Select the vendor you'd like to archive.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Check the Archived box and save.

πŸ“ Like inventory categories, vendors must be unassigned from any products before archiving.

πŸ“Œ Archiving Other Components

All other archiving processes in Elevated Signals follow the same general logic:

  • Navigate to the relevant section (e.g., Forms, Products, etc.).

  • Open the item you'd like to archive.

  • Click Edit, then check the Archived box and save.

πŸ“ Just like with vendors and inventory categories, be sure to unassign any active associations before archiving if you want to prevent future use.
