Purpose
On the Inventory Lot Detail page, the Move Lot function empowers users to seamlessly relocate a Lot along with its associated inventory items to a different location.
What can you do with it?
By utilizing the Move Lot feature, users can efficiently transfer a Lot and all its associated Inventory Items to a different location. This capability is essential for optimizing storage space and ensuring inventory accuracy.
How is it done?
Access the Inventory Lot Detail Page Navigate to the Inventory Lot Detail section where you can view details of the Lot you wish to move.
Select a Destination Location
Click on the data select field labeled Destination Location.
Choose the new location to which the Lot should be moved from the drop-down list.
Specify the Date Lot Moved
Utilize the date select field titled Date lot moved.
Enter the desired move date. If unspecified, the current date and time will be automatically recorded.
Review and Confirm the Move Ensure the destination and date are correctly entered before confirming the move to prevent errors.
Important Considerations
The date selected for moving the lot cannot precede the last ordered/received date and time.
Once confirmed, the action sets the destination location permanently and is not reversible.

Always double-check the destination location and move date prior to confirming.
Utilize current dates when possible to maintain data integrity and avoid discrepancies.
