Purpose
On the Record Detail page, you can unverify a Record. This feature allows users to revisit and adjust a previously verified record, ensuring accuracy and current relevance.
What can you do with it?
The goal of the Unverify Record function is to enable you to retract the verification of a record. By using this feature, you can correct or update information that might have changed or been found inaccurate after initial verification.
How is it done?
Navigate to the Record Detail page where your record is currently verified.
Locate the Unverify button, and click it to begin the process.
A side navigation will appear, prompting you to enter an Unverify Reason.
Use the Text Area to clearly explain why the record is being unverified.
Once you have entered the reason, confirm the action by selecting the appropriate button to complete the unverification.
Important Considerations
Verifying a record implies accuracy and compliance; ensure you have valid reasons for unverification to maintain integrity.
Only users with the appropriate permissions can unverify a record. Double-check your authorization levels if this option is unavailable.
Best Practices
Clearly document the reasons for unverification to maintain transparency and facilitate future reviews.
Communicate changes to relevant team members to maintain alignment and avoid ambiguity.
Regularly review record statuses to identify any potential inaccuracies early on.
