Understanding the Inventory Report

The Inventory report is designed to capture inventory that is active and available at the start of the reporting period. This means it includes only fully processed inventory that is ready for use or sale, which is why in-progress items, such as fresh cannabis in drying rooms, may not appear in this report.

Solution: Using the Work in Progress (WIP) Inventory Report

For a more comprehensive view that includes all in-progress inventory, we recommend using the Processing: WIP (Work in Progress) Inventory report. This report includes all inventory, including items that are still in progress (e.g., drying stages), which will ensure that you capture the status of all inventory, regardless of processing stage.

This approach is particularly useful for audits, such as Health Canada audits, where a full view of all inventory locations and stages is required.
