Understanding Inventory Adjustments in a "Return to Bulk" Work Order
When you create a "Return to Bulk" work order in ES:
Packaged Cannabis (Input):
The units of packaged cannabis that you input will be removed from your closing inventory under Other Reductions to Inventory (Packaged).
Dried Cannabis (Output):
The dried cannabis produced as the output will be added to your closing inventory under Other Additions to Inventory (Unpackaged).
Note: These default designations (Other Reductions for packaged and Other Additions for unpackaged) can be customized based on your specific reporting preferences.
Use case scenario: You’re conducting a "Return to Bulk" operation, where packaged cannabis is converted back into dried cannabis, and you want to understand how this process affects your inventory reporting.
By following this workflow, your inventory will accurately reflect the transition of product from packaged to bulk, ensuring precise reporting for inventory adjustments.
