Purpose

In the Production Batch Detail page, the Begin Drying feature allows users to start a Drying Work Order when "Wet Weight" Inventory Products are available.

What can you do with it?

The Begin Drying feature is designed to efficiently start a Drying Work Order. It ensures that you can process "Wet Weight" Inventory Products when they are in stock, helping to streamline your production operations.

How is it done?

  1. Open the Production Batch Detail Page:

    • Navigate to this page where you will manage the drying process.

  2. Set the Opening Date:

    • Date Select: Choose the starting date of the work order. If left empty, it defaults to the current date and time.

  3. Enter Work Order Description:

    • Text Area: Provide a description for your work order to keep records informative.

  4. Select Work Order Location:

    • Data Select of Locations: Choose the location where the work order will be executed.

  5. Create In Progress Records for Specific Forms:

    • Data Select of Form Schema: Pick the forms that will have in-progress records generated in the work order.

  6. Add Related Equipment:

    • Data Select of Equipments: Append relevant equipment to the work order ensuring all tools are accounted for.

Important Considerations

  • Ensure "Wet Weight" Inventory Products are available before initiating the drying process.

  • Double-check dates to avoid unintentional backdating unless required.

  • Always provide clear and concise descriptions in the Work Order Description.

  • Regularly update equipment lists to ensure all necessary tools and resources are included.
