Purpose

The Destroy Plants feature in the Cultivation Batch Detail page allows users to document the destruction of plants within a specific batch. This process creates a Destruction Event to maintain accurate records.

What can you do with it?

With the Destroy Plants feature, you can:

  • Record the removal of plants from a cultivation batch

  • Document the reason and details of plant destruction

  • Generate a formal Destruction Event for compliance and tracking

How is it done?

Follow these steps to destroy plants in a batch:

  1. Select Batch and Destruction Details

    • Choose the current batch

    • Specify the person responsible for destruction

    • Enter the number of plants or select specific plant IDs

  2. Provide Destruction Information

    • Select the Destruction Lot

    • Enter the weight of destroyed plants

    • Choose a reason for destruction

    • Add a description (optional)

  3. Set Date and Finalize

    • Select the collection date (defaults to current date/time)

    • Review and submit the destruction event

Important Considerations

  • You can only destroy plants from the batch where the Destroy Plants workflow request originated.

  • Choose between entering the number of plants or selecting specific plant IDs for destruction.

  • Weight can be entered in grams or kilograms.

  • The description field allows for additional comments about the destruction event.

Best Practices

  • Always double-check the selected batch and plant IDs before submitting.

  • Provide clear, detailed reasons for destruction to maintain accurate records.

  • Use the description field to add any relevant context not covered by other fields.

  • Regularly review destruction events to ensure compliance and identify trends.
