Purpose

The Cultivation Destruction feature, found on the Cultivation Batch Detail page, allows users to document the destruction of foliage waste within a specific batch. This process generates a Destruction Event to maintain accurate records of waste management.

What can you do with it?

With Cultivation Destruction, you can:

  • Record the destruction of foliage waste for a particular cultivation batch

  • Generate a detailed Destruction Event for tracking and compliance purposes

  • Specify the type of product, quantity, reason for destruction, and other relevant details

How is it done?

Follow these steps to record a Cultivation Destruction event:

  1. Select Destruction Details

    • Choose a Destruction Lot from the dropdown

    • Select the foliage Product to be destroyed

  2. Specify Quantity and Units

    • Enter the Quantity of product to be destroyed

    • Select the appropriate Inventory Unit

  3. Provide Destruction Information

    • Choose a Destruction Reason from the available options

    • Add a Description with any relevant comments or notes

    • Set the Timestamp for the destruction event (defaults to current date/time if left blank)

  4. Optional: Inventory Status

    • Check the "Inventory Exists in System" box if the product is tracked in inventory

    • Leave unchecked if the destruction is a byproduct of plants not in inventory

Important Considerations

  • The Product selection is limited to foliage products chosen in previous Cultivation Destruction Batch Actions

  • Inventory Units are specific to the selected Product

  • Backdating is possible by manually setting the Timestamp

  • The Description field populates the destruction event description

Best Practices

  • Always double-check the selected Product and Quantity before submitting

  • Provide clear and concise descriptions for accurate record-keeping

  • Regularly review and update your list of Destruction Reasons to ensure relevance

  • Use the Timestamp feature responsibly to maintain accurate chronological records
