Purpose

The Destruction Lot Detail page is where the magic happens. Here, you can destroy plants by creating a Destruction Event within a Batch. This key function allows for seamless generation of a Destruction Event inside the Destruction Lot.

What can you do with it?

By utilizing the Destroy Plants function, you can efficiently handle plant destruction tasks. This tool empowers you to create Destruction Events within each Batch, subsequently generating a Destruction Event in the specific Destruction Lot. Whether managing compliance or clearing space, this feature streamlines your process.

How is it done?

Follow these steps to execute the Destroy Plants function:

  1. Select the Batch - Begin with the Batch from which you intend to destroy plants. Your options will be confined to this Batch, ensuring focus and accuracy.

  2. Specify 'Destroy By' Method:

    • Choose to input the Number of Plants using a numeric entry.

    • Or, specify Plant ID(s) through a data selection process.

  3. Assign Plant Quantities - Clearly outline the exact number of Plants you wish to destroy.

  4. Identify Specific Plants - If opting for Plant IDs, select each specific Plant ID within the Batch intended for destruction.

  5. Choose the Destruction Lot - Designate the Destruction Lot where the Event will occur.

  6. Select Relevant Inventory Items - Utilize the data multi-select feature to choose Active Inventory Items associated with the selected Lot.

  7. Input Weight - Accurately provide a weight value for the Destruction Event, in grams or kilograms.

  8. State the Reason - Choose from a list of Destruction Reasons to justify the action.

  9. Add a Description - Enter notes or comments to further describe the Destruction Event.

  10. Set Collection Date - Use the date select tool to choose when the action occurred. Leaving this field empty defaults to the current date and time.

Important Considerations

  • Ensure you are working within the correct Batch to prevent errors.

  • Double-check plant counts or IDs before finalizing destruction to ensure precision.

  • The destruction process is irreversible; confirm all inputs before proceeding.

Best Practices

  • Regularly update your inventory data to maintain accuracy.

  • Consider documenting reasons for destruction thoroughly for future reference.

  • Schedule plant destruction activities during low activity periods to minimize disruptions.

  • Review company policies and compliance regulations in advance to ensure adherence.
