Purpose

The Set Status feature on the Cultivation Batch Detail page allows users to set and update the status of a batch. It helps you track your batch's progress and communicate its current state to your team effectively.

What Can You Do With It?

With Set Status, you can:

  • Assign a specific status to a cultivation batch

  • Add a reason for the status change

  • Keep your team informed about the batch's current state

  • Control access to certain batch functions based on the selected status

How to Set a Batch Status

Follow these steps to update a batch status:

  1. Navigate to the Cultivation Batch Detail page.

  2. Locate the Set Status section.

  3. Choose a status from the dropdown menu.

  4. Enter a reason for the status change in the text area (if applicable).

  5. Click the "Set Status" button to save your changes.

Important Considerations

  • Blocking statuses: Certain statuses may block key functions within the batch until a non-blocking status is set.

  • Non-blocking statuses: Setting a non-blocking status restores access to all key batch functions.

  • Activity Log: Each status change is automatically recorded in the Activity Log Report, including any notes you’ve added.

Best Practices

  • Keep status updates clear and concise.

  • Use the reason field to provide additional context when necessary.

  • Regularly review and update batch statuses to ensure accurate tracking.

  • Communicate status changes to your team to maintain workflow efficiency.
