The Edit Batch feature in the Cultivation Batch Detail page allows users to modify batch information. This tool helps keep your cultivation data current and precise.
What can you do with it?
With Edit Batch, you can update various aspects of your cultivation batches, including:
Basic info like name and description
Cultivar and production stage
Batch type and expiry date
Creation and update timestamps
Reasons for updates
This flexibility ensures your batch details always reflect the latest status of your cultivation process.
How is it done?
To edit a batch:
Navigate to the batch: Go to the Cultivation Batch Detail page and select the batch you want to edit.
Update basic information:
Modify the batch name
Select a cultivar from the dropdown
Choose the current production stage
Set or change the batch type
Adjust dates and times:
Set an expiry date (if applicable)
Update creation date/time (optional)
Modify the update date/time (optional)
Add context:
Edit the batch description
Provide a reason for the update
Save your changes: Don't forget to save after making your edits!
Important Considerations
Changing the expiry date affects the batch's active status
Backdating is possible for both creation and update times
Update reasons appear in the Facility Updates report
