On the Production Batch Detail page, the Edit Batch function allows users to edit the details of a batch seamlessly.
What can you do with it?
The Edit Batch function empowers you to adjust key components of a batch's profile. It allows users to tweak batch specifics, ensuring that everything aligns perfectly with the production requirements and timelines.
How is it done?
To edit your batch details, follow these simple steps:
Naming and Variety:
Enter the Name of the batch in the provided text field.
Select the Cultivar from the available options.
Production Specifications:
Choose the Production Stage using the data select function.
Define the Batch Type through the data select feature.
Validity and Description:
Set your Expiry Date using the date selector to ensure timely processing.
Add any necessary insights in the Description text area.
Time Management:
Insert the Date/Time batch created if you need to backdate; otherwise, it defaults to now.
Adjust the Date/Time batch updated similarly if backdating.
Documentation:
Fill in the Update Reason text area to keep track of changes for the Facility Updates report.
Important Considerations
Ensure all dates, especially expiry, are accurate to maintain batch activity integrity.
Backdating should only be used when necessary to keep records consistent.
The Update Reason is crucial for tracking changes in official logs.
