Purpose

The Plants List filter allows users to refine the plant inventory view on the Plants List page. This feature helps cultivators efficiently filter and sort plants based on various criteria.

What can you do with it?

With the Plants List filter, you can:

  • Narrow down your plant inventory based on specific attributes

  • Quickly locate plants by type, location, lot, or tags

  • Organize plants by creation date or alphabetically

  • Focus on active, harvested, destroyed, or archived plants

This functionality empowers you to manage your cultivation inventory more effectively and find the exact plants you need in a snap.

How is it done?

  1. Access the Filter

    • Navigate to the Plants List page

    • Locate the filter options at the top of the list

  2. Apply Plant Type Filters

    • Use the "Select Plant Filter" dropdown to choose from:

      • Active Plants

      • Harvested Plants

      • Destroyed Plants

      • Archived Plants

      • All Plants

    • Select "Mother Plant" or "Male Plant" for specific plant types

  3. Filter by Location and Lots

    • Use "Select location types" to filter plants by their current location

    • Choose "Select lots" to view plants from specific cultivation lots

  4. Tag-based Filtering

    • Utilize "Select Tags" to filter plants based on applied tags

  5. Sort Your Results

    • Click "Order By" to sort plants by:

      • Created At (default, ascending order)

      • Alphabetical

      • IDs

  6. Apply and Reset Filters

    • Click "Apply" to activate your selected filters

    • Use "Reset" to clear all filters and return to the default view

Important Considerations

  • Filters are applied in real-time, updating the Plants List as you select criteria

  • Multiple filters can be used simultaneously for more precise results

  • The "All Plants" option in the plant filter shows your entire inventory, regardless of status

Best Practices

  • Regularly update plant tags to ensure accurate filtering

  • Use a combination of filters for more targeted searches

  • Save commonly used filter combinations for quick access

  • Review your filtered results to ensure you haven't inadvertently excluded relevant plants
