The goal of the Open Work Order is to streamline your workflow initiation. Users can efficiently start a work order, ensuring all necessary details are documented from the get-go.
How is it done?
Navigate to the Work Order Detail page.
Start by accessing the Work Order Detail page where you can manage and review your work processes.
Select the Opening Date.
Use the Date Select option to determine when the work order begins. Tip: If you leave this field empty, it will default to the current date and time, which is great for immediate actions.
Choose the Work Order Location.
Utilize the Data Select of Locations to assign a location for your work order. Remember, if your work order type settings permit, you can adjust this location to better fit your needs.
Important Considerations
If the opening date is backdated, ensure historical accuracy in your records.
The location setting can be changed if your work order type is configured for this, providing flexibility in task management.
