The goal of Reopen a Destruction Lot is to provide flexibility and accuracy in managing your destruction records. Allows users to reopen a Destruction Lot, ensuring that any amendments or corrections can be swiftly made without starting from scratch.
How is it done?
Follow these steps to seamlessly reopen a Destruction Lot:
Navigate to the Destruction Lot Detail page.
Locate the Destruction Lot you wish to modify.
Click on the option to Reopen.
In the prompted section, check the box for Invalidate current witness signatures, if necessary.
Provide a Reopen Reason in the available text area. Clearly state why the lot needs to be reopened.
Confirm your action to reset all witnesses and finalize changes.
All modifications and reasons will be recorded automatically in the Event Log for future reference.
