Purpose

In the Inventory Item Detail page, the Print Labels option allows users to print labels for inventory items with ease.

What can you do with it?

The Print Labels feature empowers you to generate necessary labels for your inventory items. This functionality streamlines the process of labeling, ensuring your items are correctly identified and managed within your operations.

How is it done?

  1. Access the Inventory Item Detail Page Begin by navigating to the Inventory Item Detail page to find the item you need to label.

  2. Select Print Labels Locate and select the Print Labels option to start the printing process.

  3. Enter Print Label Details

    • Entity Type: Choose the entity type for which you are printing the label.

    • Inventory: Verify the inventory item. It will automatically default to the current item in view.

  4. Choose Printing Options

    • Printer: Select the printer you wish to use.

    • Printer Job Template: Pick the template that best suits your label needs.

  5. Specify Label Quantity

    • Label Quantity: Enter the number of labels you require. Make sure to input the correct amount to avoid discrepancies.

  6. Initiate Printing After reviewing all details, confirm to print your labels.

Important Considerations

  • Ensure that you select the correct Entity Type to avoid mislabeling.

  • Double-check the Inventory Item to confirm that it's set to the current item you intend to label.

  • Select the appropriate Printer Job Template for the best label format and appearance.
