Overview
Learn how to select and input plants into your Work Order, whether you're pulling from a specific batch or location.
Before You Start
Be clear on which plants are approved for input
Know the source batch name or physical location
Step 1: Input Plants Using a Source Batch
This form is best when you’re starting with a known plant batch.
In the Work Order, click Add Input → choose Plants
Select the Source Batch
(Optional) Select the Source Lot
Decide how to add:
Use Remaining Plants to input all
Use Specific Plant Ids to choose individual IDs
Or manually enter a Number of Plants
Add the Timestamp
Click + Add to complete the entry
✅ Pro Tip: If plant IDs are pre-selected during harvest planning, use the ID dropdown to match exactly.
🗒️ Note: Enabling Specific Plant Ids replaces the Number field with a multi-select list.
Step 2: Input All Plants From a Location
This form is designed for quick input of all plants physically grouped by location.
From your Work Order, select By Location
Pick the Source Location from the dropdown
Choose the Timestamp for when plants were moved or processed
Click + Add to confirm
✅ Pro Tip: Use this method when the entire location is part of the operation—no need for batch-level sorting.
🗒️ Note: You won’t be able to filter by batch or ID—this form is all-in by design.
Troubleshooting
Problem: My batch isn’t showing in the form
Fix: Confirm the batch is open and that plants are still assigned to it.
Problem: I don’t see any plant IDs when “Use Specific Plant Ids” is enabled
Fix: Make sure plants in the selected batch are still available and not already used.
Problem: No plants appear when I select a location
Fix: Only active, unassigned plants will be pulled by this form. Use the Cultivation Batches page to confirm plant status and location.
