Purpose

The Move Batch feature, found on the Cultivation Batch Detail page, allows users to transfer a batch from one location to another. This action automatically generates a Work Order to document the batch movement.

What can you do with it?

With Move Batch, you can:

  • Relocate cultivation batches to different areas of your facility

  • Keep accurate records of batch movements

  • Generate work orders to track the relocation process

  • Associate equipment and records with the batch transfer

How is it done?

Follow these steps to move a batch:

  1. Select Destination

    • Choose the new location for your batch from the available options

  2. Set Date

    • Pick the date when the batch was moved

    • If left empty, the current date and time will be used

  3. Add Equipment (optional)

    • Select any equipment used during the batch transfer

  4. Include Records (optional)

    • Add any relevant records associated with the batch move

  5. Confirm Move

    • Review the information and confirm the batch transfer

Important Considerations

  • The batch's location will be updated to the chosen destination

  • A Work Order is automatically created to document the move

  • Backdating is possible, but leaving the date empty will use the current time

  • Equipment and records can be added to provide more context to the move

Best Practices

  • Always double-check the destination location before confirming the move

  • Include relevant equipment and records to maintain comprehensive documentation

  • Use the backdating feature responsibly to ensure accurate historical data

  • Regularly review Work Orders generated from batch moves to maintain oversight
