Purpose

On the Cultivation Batch Detail page, users can advance the growth stage of plants within a batch. This action automatically generates a work order to document the growth stage advancement.

What can you do with it?

The Advance Growth Stage feature allows you to:

  • Update the growth stage of plants in a specific batch

  • Create a work order to record the advancement

  • Track equipment used and data collected during the process

  • Backdate the action if needed

How is it done?

Follow these steps to advance the growth stage:

  1. Select Growth Stage

    • Choose the new growth stage from the dropdown menu

  2. Set Date

    • Enter the date when the growth stage changed

    • If left empty, it will default to the current date and time

  3. Add Work Order Description

    • Enter comments or details in the text area

    • This information will be set as the work order description

  4. Select Equipment (optional)

    • Choose any equipment used during the process from the dropdown

  5. Add Records (optional)

    • Select relevant records documented during the work order

  6. Confirm and Save

    • Review all entered information

    • Save to update the growth stage and generate the work order

Important Considerations

  • Advancing the growth stage will update all plants within the selected batch

  • The generated work order serves as an official record of the advancement

  • Backdating is possible but should be used judiciously for accuracy

Best Practices

  • Always double-check the selected growth stage before confirming

  • Provide detailed comments in the work order description for future reference

  • Regularly update growth stages to maintain accurate cultivation records

  • Use the equipment and records fields to ensure comprehensive documentation
