Purpose

On the Location Page, use Edit Location to update the details of a location seamlessly.

What can you do with it?

The Edit Location feature lets you modify the characteristics of your locations effectively. This includes changing the name, description, type, hierarchy, and status of a location to ensure your data is current and organized.

How is it done?

Follow these simple steps to edit a location:

  1. Access the Location Page

    • Navigate to the Location Page where you will find the list of all your current locations.

  2. Choose a Location to Edit

    • Identify the location you need to update and select it to view its details.

  4. Set Location Type and Hierarchy

    • Parent Location: Choose a parent location from the data-select options if applicable.

  5. Archiving

    • Archived: Check this box to archive a location if it is no longer active.

  6. Update Reason
