Overview

Need to fix a plant count in a batch? Whether a cutting was missed or logged too many plants during intake, this tutorial helps you adjust the numbers post-reporting. Keep this action rare by staying sharp on your counts—but hey, mistakes happen.

Before You Start

  • You must have permission to reconcile Plants. Admin and Member roles have this by default.

  • Know whether you're adding or removing plants.

  • Double-check whether reconciliation is necessary: if you're still in the reporting period, you may be able to undo steps instead for cleaner compliance.

Step 1: Navigate to the Batch

Start by finding the batch that needs reconciling.

  1. Go to the Cultivation Batches page or use the search bar at the top.

  2. Click on the relevant batch to open the Batch Detail page.

  3. Hit Batch Actions, then select Reconcile Plants.

Pro Tip: Use the search bar to jump straight to the batch if you know the name or ID.

Step 2: Fill Out the Reconciliation Form

Tell the system what changed.

  1. Pick an Adjustment Type:

    • Addition – you're adding plants.

    • Subtraction – you're removing them.

  2. Choose a Reason. If you pick Other, a new field appears—fill in your custom reason.

  3. Enter the number of plants.

  4. (Optional) Update the Time In to backdate the reconciliation.

Pro Tip: This action doubles as a Work Order—add a description to track why it happened.

🗒️ Note: You can’t link Records or Equipment in this kind of Work Order.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: Can't subtract the number of plants you entered?

    • Fix: Make sure the number you're trying to subtract isn’t more than what’s actually in the batch.
