Create a Cultivation or Production Batch

Kick off a production run by setting up a new Cultivation or Production Batch in Elevated Signals.

Overview

Batches are your go-to tool for keeping Plants or Products organized through every stage of production. In this quick walkthrough, you’ll create your first Cultivation or Production Batch with just a few clicks.


Before You Start

  • You’ll need the right permissions to create Batches. Admins and Members have this by default.

  • (Optional) Check if your team uses a specific Batch naming convention.

  • (Optional) Need a refresher on your facility’s setup? Make sure your Locations and Cultivars are ready to go.


Step 1: Open the “+ New Batches” Form

This is where it all begins.

  1. Head to either the Cultivation Batches or Production Batches page.

  2. Hit + New Batches to open the creation form.


Step 2: Fill in Your Batch Details

Let’s set it up!

  1. Choose a Location and a Cultivar from the dropdowns.

    🗒️ These must already exist in your facility setup.

  2. (Optional) Enter a custom name for your Batch — or leave it blank to auto-generate one.

  3. Click + Create Batch.

🎉 That’s it! Your new Batch is live and ready for action.

Pro Tip: Skip the name field if you want Elevated Signals to generate a unique Batch ID for you.

Pro Tip: Want to backdate the batch? Use the Date/Time batch created picker to set the right start date.

🗒️ Note: Depending on your setup, you might see extra fields like Batch Type or Description — super handy for keeping things organized.
